About Us

I founded “Lindo Bebé”, which means "Pretty Baby" in Spanish, in the spring of 2000.   Babies in my hometown of Puerto Rico wear precious hand made linen outfits.  The outfits are handcrafted with heirloom techniques that have been passed down for generations.  These beautiful outfits are our source of inspiration.  When I had my sons, I could not find these types of products, so I started making them with the help of my grandmother. She taught how to sew, how to hand embroider and also all the heirloom techniques that you will find throughout my collection.  Shortly after making the first few outfits, I was selling them in specialty boutiques in the Atlanta area. 

 

Our goal is to provide you with the most beautiful handcrafted baby outfit for you to cherish from generations to come!

Our Products

We specialize in Christening gowns, special occasions and take-me-home outfits.  We also offer unique accessories, perfect for that special baby shower gift or to complement any of the outfits.  Our products are made of natural fiber fabric, fine handkerchief linen and fine cotton.  The delicate and beautiful "mundillo" laces that adorn these garments are imported from Spain.  We use heirloom techniques such as "drawn thread" and "calado".  All the embroidery and patchwork are handmade and may be customized.  As details we use mother of pearl buttons and silk satin ribbon. 

 

All our products are locally designed and carefully handcrafted by artisan women in the Atlanta area.  Our hope is to preserve sewing and heirloom techniques that are almost extinct and introduce them to new generations.
